RCL and FCW went into partnership in 2016 in collaboration with Word Works. Two trainers of FCW went on a training of trainers, where they got in-depth training on how to facilitate the word works programme with ECD practitioners and home visitors. Over the past three years FCW had a team of home visitors, ECD assistants and ECD practitioners doing the training
Rainbow Chicken Limited & Do-More Foundation
The training focuses on early literacy and during the training 6 books are covered:
- Book 1 Talk, play and sing (birth to 2years).
- Book 2 Talk and sing (3 to 5 years).
- Book 3 Play (3 to 5 years).
- Book 4 Share books (birth to 5 years).
- Book 5 Draw and write (3 to 5 years).
- Book 6 Enjoy math everyday (3 to 5 years).
In 2017 RCL then formed a foundation known as the “Do-more Foundation”. After completing the word works programme, participants receive a certificate of attendance.
